Ekspandirani Polistiren
Ekspandirani polistiren (EPS) je termo-izolacijski materijal karakterističnih fizikalno-kemijskih svojstava. Koji se proizvodi od sirovine polistiren koja izgleda poput zrna šećera i koja se zagrijava sa vodenom parom na oko 100°C te svako zrnce ekspandira za 30 do 50 puta svog prvotnog volumena, a gustoća mu smanjuje sa otpr. 600kg/m^3 na 10-25kg/m^3 ovisno o vrsti proizvoda koju želimo dobiti.
EPS je materijal izvanrednih toplinsko-izolacijskih (λ = 0.041 do 0.031 W/mK) i mehaničkih svojstava, niske cijene te jednostavne ugradnje pa je vrlo brzo, nakon što se pojavio, osvojio svjetsko graditeljstvo i do danas je ostao na vodećem mjestu s udjelom većim od 40 %. Zbog sve veće potrebe za očuvanjem okoliša i uštede energije potreba za vrhunskim izolacijskim materijalima konstantno raste.

Simapor XPS izolacijske ploče
Izolacijske ploče od ekstrudiranog polistirena (XPS), glatke površine i ravnih rubova. Koriste se za izolaciju ravnih, obrnutih ravnih i zelenih krovova, podrumskih zidova, bazena, industrijskih podova, podnožja. Tlačna čvrstoća CS (10\Y) - 300 kPa (debljine > 30 mm).
